So of course, when the crew gave new incarnations for Tirek, Scorpan and the Smooze, the fans were wondering if Grogar will appear one day.Īccording to spoilers for Season 9 ( which I have no idea if this is legit), Grogar will be the next great villain. In G1, he was a villain (don’t know if he was great, never watched the episode) but Friendship is Magic has a better and bigger lore than its G1 counterpart. In one episode (when Twilight babysit her niece), the name “Grogar” was mentioned, but as a character in a bedtime story. Tirek and the Smooze got a new incarnation in G4.
Tirek (and Scorpan) and the Smooze are characters from the G1 of My Little Pony, alongside with Grogar. Little summary for those who have been living under a rock (or didn’t look back at MLP G1 lore): The highlight for me (aside from King Sombra and Nightmare Rarity) is GROGAR.
